Bolt J mount

It was a pain in the butt to install. The thrust clip is small. It is like fitting a size 8 shoe over a size 10 feet. There are two bolts to work with. The top one is easy but not the bottom which is encased in a "steel box." So, there is little room to work with a wrench. I guess this would be a deterrent to stealing as it took time to tighten the bottom bolt. Then, you have to deal with the protective sticker. It is so sticky; it was hard to line up because it would stick to the very first surface it comes contact with. The sticker curls ; I guess it must be static electricity. And there is more: there are two holes for the pin but only one is the correct one. I tried to "eyeball" it but I guessed wrong. Story of my life. When I come to a fork in the trail or road, I always pick the wrong one. I had to re-do the whole setup to get the pin in right hole. But, I got it done. I got the jack off the rear door. And the door does not hit the jack.
Good thing: the mount is quick release. And you cannot see the jack while driving; it is hiding behind the pillar.
