This has to be the hardest hike I have ever done. I failed in 2012 due to leg cramps. This time, using a water filtering system, I made Gatorade along the stream.Unfortunately, I came after two remnants of hurricanes hit the area. Instead of getting the classic shots of pools of water in the slot, I got lots sand instead. I think I will try one more time. This place requires a permit via lottery.
