Golden Cathedral

this is located within Neon Canyon. The hike is about nine miles round trip with a 1500 feet elevation change. Starting at the trailhead, the hike is all downhill. Coming back up is the hard part especially when you are dealing with soft sand at the bottom of the hike. And you have to cross the Escalante river twice if you are taking the direct route. The river depth is about 19 inches and it was fast moving water. if you take the scenic route(fence canyon), it is multiple crossings.
