Total Solar Eclipse 2017

This was my first time seeing and photographing a total solar eclipse. I drove up to Madras, Oregon to experience the event. Coming in was not too bad but going out was a total nightmare. Some people tried to leave right after totality but encountered gridlock. My friends and I waited out about 1.5 hours but still it was very bad. It took me five hours to drive from Madras to Bend( 40 miles).. And got even worse going south of Bend on highway 97.
There is a video of me. Just watch the beginning where you can hear the crowd's reaction to the totality and you can see the darkness prevail.
