Hotel La Ermita, Terrazas, Cuba
This place has great views of the valley. But, my room was stinky and I had lukewarm water for showering. My second stay: my room was less stinky but it flooded when it rained. I guess you can tell I am not a big fan of this place.
There are two explanations as to why the strange coloration: White balance and reciprocity failure. Well, in plain English: White balance has to do with light temperature which is expressed in Kelvin. So, direct sunlight is 5,200K and sodium vapor lamps are around 2,700K . For the life of me, I could not dial in on the right temperature of those lamps which leads into the other problem. Color distortion due to reciprocity failure is the main reason why the photos are the way they are. These are twenty second exposures.
