Rost, Norway
pronounced- Rust! this is a very remote place. Unfortunately, the only boat tour operator lost his license about one or two weeks before I arrived. I had to hire a fisherman to take me out to the other islands but he told me he hates doing bird tours. At least , he was honest. I managed to see the Atlantic Puffin( Fratercula arctica)
I hired a local bird expert( Steven Baines) who is an Englishman but is a citizen of Norway. He convinced me in less than two hours that there is not much to see on this tiny island. Talk about small- I walked from one end of the island to the other in 1.5 hours while taking pictures. So, I had to look around real hard to find subjects to photograph.

HDR photograph: not a good shot but I left it here because one one reason. If you have motion, this is one limitation of HDR. You cannot read the name of the boat because it was moving; three images fused together. Even the boat in the middle is not sharp because it was moving. But, the photo is more pleasant now because of the high contrast has been neutralized
