Close encounters of the whale kind

I do have a Humpback gallery along with Rissos dolphins, Pacific white-sided dolphins and sea lions but I created this gallery because of the uniqueness of back to back whale watching trips. I have been doing whale watching for about twenty years. I have encountered friendly whales three times. It is a magical moment when a whale comes over to visit you. The huge mammal is showing curiosity and is taking the initiative to make contact with humans.
And these trips showed another behavior: co-existence between seal lions and whales

They eat giant squids. The scarring on the bodies are from the squid biting the dolphins and fighting with other dolphins.
