Chasing Orcas

This a dedicated trip for Killer whales which is offered in the spring time where the Gray whales are migrating back to Alaska. New mothers are bringing their off-springs. The Killer whales ( transients) wait for them to cross the Monterey Bay and try to kill and eat the baby whales.
Three types of Orcas: Residents are fish eaters
Transients are mammal eaters
Off Shores are ???? they are not mammal eaters but do eat Mola Mola, sharks, etc.
You are seeing Transients in this gallery.
