Best Friends Animal Sanctuary

once you drive past Moqui Cave without stopping, make a detour here. For years, I would drive by and never stop. But this time, I stopped. What a pleasant surprise! Basically, it is a shelter for homeless animals. Their goal is to end killings in America's shelters by 2025. Free two hours tours are offered daily at 8:30am, 10am, 1pm, and 2:30pm. Reservation is recommended but I was able to get on the last tour without one.
