I rarely "machine gun" my subjects but I did it at this event. I shot 15 GB in three hours.(approx 1,400 shots) I was quite impressed with the performance from these kids.
Location: the bike 'park' is located near the Post Office in Aptos, CA.
This is my second time shooting but I am a bit wiser. I shot about 6-8 GB in a limited 'machine gun' style(not a fair comparison since I used my D4 which has more pixels than the D3s). This place is tough to shoot because of all the distractions in the background including a remote control helicopter and a stupid banner placed right in the middle of the competition.
